High-quality omni-directional mic capsule for clear sound pickup
The Transmitter has an advanced omni-directional microphone capsule to capture clear sound recording from any direction. A fuzzy wind screen is also included and can be attached to the microphone to reduce wind noise if required.
Transmitter attenuator switch adjusts audio pickup level
An attenuator switch on the transmitter is provided to adjust audio level pickup and is useful when sound is excessively loud or too low

Wind screen included
The included windscreen can be used with the ECM-W2BT to reduce the wind noise that occurs when strong wind or breath impacts the microphone. The speaker's voice can be recorded clearly and stably, even when shooting outdoors.

Three sound pick up patten options
The ECM-W2BT offers ultimate creative freedom thanks to its sound acquisition functions. Three sound pick up modes - MIC mode, MIX mode and a RCVR mode - allows the user to record sound and ambient sound based on their desired preference.
Compact, lightweight body design resistant to dust and moisture
The compact transmitter clips discreatly beneath clothing, weighing only .95 oz. The receiver weighs in at only .98 oz. To match the rugged performance of Sony cameras, both the transmitter and receiver are dust and moisture resistant.
Rechargeable Lithium Ion battery for long shooting duration
Both the transmitter and receiver have a built-in rechargeable Lithium Ion battery that delver long recording times.
Recommend use with ECM-LV1 stereo lavalier microphone
The ECM-W2BT mic supports stereo audio output input and an external 3.5mm stereo mini-jack to allow for stereo sound pickup, so it can be used in combination with the stereo-capable lavalier microphone such as the ECM-LV1.
LINK and power lamps
For easy reference, the ECM-W2BT includes a LINK lamp to notify the user of the status of the communication between the microphone and the receiver and a POWER lamp to show the remaining battery charge.
